Joe Dorrian
CEO & President
Joe graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1993 and served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy's Pacific Fleet, where he gained experience overseeing complex engineering systems and bridge operations. After military service, Joe joined GE Aircraft Engines, where he certified as a Six Sigma Blackbelt and led supply chain operations in Asia.
In 2004, he joined Thermo Fisher Scientific, driving growth in China’s life sciences and healthcare markets. Thermo Fisher allowed Joe to develop expertise in global operations, business growth, and leadership. Later, as an entrepreneur, he helped U.S. manufacturers of medical diagnostic equipment import instruments and equipment into Asia's fast-growing hospital and healthcare networks.
Since 2016, Joe has been the co-owner and CEO of Instrument Technology, Inc. (ITI), focusing on growth and customer relationships. Together with the company's leadership team, Joe has emphasized the importance of ISO13485 compliance, the establishment of strategic partnerships with world-leading medical device OEMs, and investments in innovation, including automation, rapid prototyping, and high-precision design capabilities.
